Solution/Action:
It appears that the wrong language is being
accessed for the Config string after firmware has been upgraded.
To clear this problem, do the NV RAM CLEAR procedure.
This function is accessed by: With Technical
Access ON, press:
TEST - Diag - Clear - NVRAM - Enter clears the
NVRAM settings
After performing the "clear" operations, the
printer should have all three of the calibration procedures
performed:
Platen Open Cal
Hammer
Paper Out
All are accessed by:
Tech Access ON, then: TEST - Diag - Calibrations

Note: The NVRAM CLEAR function should be run
after all firmware upgrades. |
