Shuttle Drive Pulleys

Issue / Symptom:  New shuttle drive pulleys in June production. (Serial Number B21Fxxxxxx)

New pulleys (with "shoulders" or "flanges" or "sides") are being used for the
Shuttle Drive Motor and for the Shuttle shaft. This new design assists in keeping
the drive belt centered during the quick motor "ramp-up" when the shuttle is
started.

When you install the new pulleys, ensure the pulleys are aligned and cleaned (see Service Note T6215.004). After installation and before installing the ribbon platform, run the Shuttle Motor test and watch the tracking of the belt. Also, start and stop the Motor test and watch the action of the belt. If the belt appears stretched, replace it then retest.

The Shuttle Motor test is accessed after turning on the Technical Access mode then going to:

TEST => Diag => Motors => Shuttle. Pressing ENTER will start and stop the test.
