Issue / Symptom:
After power-up, the
printer will display one of the following messages constantly,
and will not respond to control panel buttons or system print
jobs:
VERIFYING IMAGE
JUMPING TO SYS ENTRY POINT
INITIALIZING

Procedures:
These messages are a normal part of the startup process, but
each should only be displayed for about 18 to 25 seconds, in
sequence, before the printer prints its status page, and comes
ready.
Possible corrective action:
Power off, and reseat the controller board. Also, you may try
reseating any resident DIMM modules, disk drive, etc. which may
reside on the controller board.
Replace the controller board. |
