Solution/Action:
WebPanel menu operations work
very much like the control panel menu. As with the control
panel, you must make configuration changes via the menu, then
perform a Save Config to save those changes.
Once that is done, you may perform an Upload Config to your PC
to permanently save it. You may then perform a Download Config
to that printer, or to other printers with the same firmware
level, and those configuration changes will be reflected in the
menu.
The "Refresh" link and the browser "Refresh" buttons are of
limited use in WebPanel, because they do not re-post the
currently displayed menu information; they actually perform a
"Back" function, returning you to a higher-level page.
Please note that you will be bouncing between the "Printer
Configuration" and "Printer Actions" pages fairly often:
- All menu changes are done via "Printer Configuration"
- All configuration saving, loading, uploading, downloading, and
reporting are done via "Printer Actions".
"Printer Configuration" operates only on the currently loaded
Configuration settings.
You must use "Printer Actions" to manipulate the various
Configurations.
Additional Notes/Comments:
WebPanel will not work with a
Proxy Server that caches webpages.
