Printing with Port 9100

Issue / Symptom:  

Port 9100 is disabled by default, but can be enabled.

From the printer control panel:

• If Power Saver is lit, press the Power Saver key.
• Press MENU- the display shows Print Language.
• Press DOWN until the display shows Admin Menu.
• Press RIGHT until the display shows Network/Port
• Press RIGHT until the display shows Parallel.
• Press DOWN until the display shows Port9100.
• Press RIGHT until the display shows Port Status.
• Press RIGHT- the display shows Disable*
• Press DOWN- the display shows Enable.
• Press SET- the display shows Enable*
• Press Menu.

From the printer web page:

• Open the printer web page.
• Select Properties.
• Select Port Status.
• Check Port9100.
• Click Apply New Settings.
  (the default name and password are admin and x-admin)
