Reminder to Check Connector Keys on CMX/CFX PCBAs
Summary: 

This Technical Bulletin has been written as a reminder on how important it is to note the proper
orientation of the power cables as they are reinstalled during the course of normal troubleshooting
and/or replacement of that assembly.
Resolution:

The cables that would be affected the most by a mis-orientation of the connector where pin 1

marked on the connector does not line up correctly with pin 1 silk- screened on both the CMX and

CFX PCBAs are:

P101 - Power Cable Connector Assy (part of Power Supply) to J101 on board.

P102 - +5V Remote Power Cable Assy (154364-001) to J102 on board.

P105 - Hammer Bank Power Cable Assy (152423-001) to J105 on board.

P116 – Shuttle Motor Drive Cable Assy (152420-001) to J116 on board.

Important

Failure to mate the connectors correctly may result in damage to the printer and/or unpredictable

behavior.
