Resolution:
When troubleshooting the P5000 Stacker and you determine that a
limit switch or PMD Switch may need replacement, we now offer
replacement parts in kit form to assist with replacing these
faulty parts. Part of the kit is an assembly that makes
replacement easier than unsoldering the switch assembly.
Early shipments of the stacker had the limit
switches hard -wired to the harness. When replacing a switch on
a stacker with the hard-wired harness, the entire harness should
be replaced with the Power Stacker Limit Switch Kit, Part Number
170285-001. If the Power Stacker Limit Switch Kit has already
been installed the limit switches can be replaced individually
since they will have snap connectors attaching them to the
harness. The part number for the limit switch for this
configuration is: 170870-901
The later versions of the stacker have the limit
switches connected to the harness with snap connectors on the
individual switches, so the switches can be replaced
individually without replacing the entire harness.
The part number for the limit switch for this
configuration is: 170870-901
The Pivot Arm Block kit is a part you can add to
the stacker to ensure a big enough gap exists between the drive
rollers and the idler rollers to allow easy passage of thick
forms and multi-part forms.
