These drivers are for Windows versions
3.11, 95, and 98, and support the Printronix P5000 series family of line
matrix printers.
This page allows you to download a self extracting file that contains the
driver. Download the file into an empty directory on your hard drive, and
execute the file to extract the installation files (Note: for Win 95/98
install, do not select "When done unzipping run: SETUP.EXE"). If
extracting from a DOS prompt, you must use the "-d" switch after the name
of the file. To install in Windows 3.11, run SETUP.EXE. To install in
Windows 95 or 98, go to Start/Settings/Printers, select ADD PRINTER and
follow instructions to install the driver. For Win95/98 installation, when
you specify the folder where the driver setup files are located, select
the Win 95 folder; the File Name box should say p5000s.inf.
This driver optimizes print time by utilizing printer resident fonts and
barcodes. It is a full feature driver that allows graphics, text, and
barcoding in the same document.
