TallyGenicom Appoints William L. Rumold as CEO
Chantilly, VA, June 20, 2005 - TallyGenicom announced today
that William L. Rumold has been named Chief Executive Officer of the
company. Rumold brings more than 25 years of international business
leadership experience in a variety of high technology sectors.

parts, supplies and unparalleled printing solutions and services," said
Rumold. "It is my charge to continue to drive growth in this thriving

Arthur D. Gallo, outgoing Chief Executive Officer of TallyGenicom. As
planned, Mr. Gallo will move to a special advisor to the Board of Directors
role and will focus on enhancing the company's global strategic
partnerships.
Rumold joins TallyGenicom after performing as Founder, CEO and Chairman of
DC 7 and Chairman and CEO of WiredPocket, two highly successful hi-tech
start-ups. In addition, he was Interim CEO of Lumeta Corporation, a Bell
Labs spin-off company. In the late 1990's, Rumold occupied senior
management positions for several global technology companies, where he was
responsible for international sales, marketing and customer support. Rumold
spent the first 15 years of his career working for Hewlett Packard where he
served at different points as Managing Director, Operations General
Manager, Distribution Channel Development Manager and National Programs
Manager.
Rumold has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from
Missouri school of Mines, and served in the United States Air Force.
