Printronix LaserLine Series Windows 3.1, 95, and 98 Drivers

These drivers are for Windows versions 3.1, 95, and 98, and they support Printronix L1024, L1524, L5020, L5520, L5031, L5035, and L5535 LaserLine printers with the PCL5 language emulation installed. These drivers are not intended for Printronix LaserLine printers without the PCL5 emulation installed.

This page allows you to download self extracting files for Custom and Universal drivers. Download a driver file into an empty directory on your hard drive, and execute the file. If extracting from a DOS prompt, you must use the "-d" switch after the name of the file. Once all of the driver files have been extracted, execute the Windows Add Printer Option to perform the installation of the driver into Windows. Please read the "Read.me" file (once extracted) using notepad or MS-DOS Edit for additional information.

This driver provides a custom paper size feature, which unlike the fixed paper size limits of the typical PCL 5 type driver, allows LaserLine printers to print specialty size labels and forms directly from Windows

Note: Use Custom Drivers if print speed is of primary importance. The Universal Drivers are convenient to use with International Windows since the language displayed by these drivers will conform to the language of Windows on the host computer..
