Printronix Printer Drivers
Printronix LaserLine Series Windows NT 3.0 Drivers
These drivers are for Windows NT 3.x, and
they support Printronix L1024, L5031, L5035, and L5020 LaserLine printers
with the PCL5 language emulation installed. These drivers are not intended
for Printronix LaserLine printers without the PCL5 emulation installed.
L1024 PCL5 emulation software must be version 1.11U at a minimum and
L5031, L5035, and L5020 PCL5 emulation software must be version 2.00G at a
minimum.
This page allows you to download a self extracting file that contains an
L1024 driver which is 128Kbytes in size, an L503x driver which is
128Kbytes in size, or an L5020 driver which is 128Kbytes in size. Download
a driver file into an empty directory on your hard drive, and execute the
file. If extracting from a Command prompt, you must use the "-d" switch
after the name of the file. Once all of the driver files have been
extracted, execute the Windows Add Printer Option to perform the
installation of the driver into Windows. Please read the "Read.me" file
(once extracted) using notepad or other text editor for additional
information.
This driver provides a custom paper size feature, which unlike the fixed
paper size limits of the typical PCL 5 type driver, allows LaserLine
printers to print specialty size labels and forms directly from Windows.
